Sales Engineer (Semiconductor Business), Germany

Job overview:

As a Sales Engineer / Business Development within their semiconductor business unit, the job holder will serve as the primary contact for prospective customers, bridging the gap between the clients, Technical Marketing and the Engineering team in the European market.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities for semiconductor products in the EU market and assess new project potentials.
  • Achieve sales targets set by the line manager.
  • Acquire new customers and explore business opportunities.
  • Manage new projects efficiently and promptly.
  • Cultivate and sustain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Articulate complex technical information in a comprehensible manner to customers.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the headquarters/line manager.

 

Requirements:

  • A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience as an Application Engineer or Sales Engineer in the Semiconductor sector within Europe
  • Fluency in English (mandatory); proficiency in German or Japanese is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships in Europe (mandatory).
  • Willingness to undertake frequent business trips within the EU and occasional international business trips.
