Premium Japanese Beauty Brand, is now looking for a Japanese Speaking Beauty Consultant to join their passionate team in London.

Born at the backstage of film sets in Japan, the brand has a cult following among makeup artists and celebrities. The brand has won numerous beauty awards in recent years including Cosmopolitan, Tatler, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle to name a few. Their  unique GANKIN facial treatment works on facial muscles, to our effective skincare products and our beautiful array of cosmetics, the brand speaks quality, integrity, and attention to detail.

We now are looking for an enthusiastic Japanese speaking retail beauty consultant.
Your main duties include:
-Meeting, greeting, and communicating with customers and representing the brand
-Providing good services including providing facials and makeup applications
-Link selling, adding promotions, closing sales
-Recording sales and filling in customer details
-Motivated to hit sales targets
-Organising and preparing the counter for the smooth running of the business
-Processing transactions on the till and using different payment methods
-Tidying up the counter
-Working with the team, manager, store management, and head office staff

As the ideal candidate, you would be a well-organised person and a happy, outgoing, and fearless individual who would fit well in the dynamic existing team.
You should also:
-Be an avid learner and be passionate about promoting the brand
-Be able to picture a long-term career plan at the brand
-Enjoy challenges and work under pressure
-Have experience in beauty retail in the UK preferably in premium beauty
-Be a quick learner and a positive thinker
-Be self-motivated, pro-active, and target driven

Our client Europe’s largest importer, developer, and distributor of authentic Japanese food and drinks is looking to recruit a Japanese speaking Buyer to join their friendly team in London.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 – 17:30

Report to: Purchasing Manager

Purpose of Role:

Working with other teams to develop new product ranges and improve existing product ranges.
Keep products in a winning position in both price and quality aspects compared with competitors’ similar products.
Key Tasks/ Responsibilities:

To liaise with Sales Departments to obtain sales forecast and customer feedback, in order to manage demand, plan and place the orders to avoid any shortage and overstock.

To liaise with manufacturers and check the shipping/delivery schedule of incoming containers/deliveries.
To get the best quotation and terms from suppliers if required to find new items.
(You may need to look for new suppliers for products required through search engines such as BRC Directory, Valid IT and each country’s Food speciality websites.)

To manage and develop supplier relationships, ensuring that all suppliers are developed to achieve target levels of business.
To liaise closely with the Technical Department to ensure that all new products, ingredients and manufacturers conform to current legal requirements and food safety standards.
To set up new product codes on SAP database, in accordance with the Purchase procedure. Ensure the item data is maintained and up to date.
To ensure that all importing documents and certificates comply with relevant current legislation.
To resolve any problems with suppliers, Technical Team (quality issue), and warehouse (delivery issue), and to support Purchasing Assistant if there is any issue for suppliers you are responsible.
To review regularly the items you are responsible for to identify any issue.
