Sales Director (Japanese speaking), Finance/Consultancy/Risk Management

A leading global advisory, broking and solutions company operating worldwide that helps corporate clients make risk into a way for growth, we have an excellent opportunity as a Sales Director to join and operate a dynamic and fast-growing team for Japanese practices in Europe.

For the right candidate, the company will provide working visa sponsorship as well as relocation/accommodation fee, working location is also flexible (UK, Germany or France). We welcome applications from all over the world.

Job description:
The job holder will have responsibility for driving sales growth in the Japanese client portfolio using expertise in creating and generating leads from Japanese business as well as developing a robust new prospect pipeline to ensure sales targets are met in the Corporate Risk and Broking / Human Capital and Benefits segments.
Further specific responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and generating leads from Japan Practice Group pipelines
  • Managing and maintaining the database through the Japan Practice Network
  • Self-generating prospect meetings and liaising with the contact management team to create further sales appointments beyond geographies
  • Working with team colleagues to develop winning proposals for prospects
  • Growing and developing prospect pipeline so that it is robust enough to hit sales targets
  • Driving a team process that meets and exceeds new sales targets through acquisition of in-scope business

Report line – Managing Director of Japan team
Team structure – managing 10-12 sales executives all around Europe

Requirements:

  • Broad and solid knowledge and experience in Risk management, general insurance and corporate management
  • Extensive experience in Corporate sales, business development and networking
  • Business level of Japanese and English are mandatory
  • Relevant qualifications (such as ACII equivalent) would be advantage
