An Administrator is urgently required for a City-based group trading company to join their Finance Department in early February 2019.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm (4 hours, no lunch break)
(Please note occasionally you may be required to work 9am to 5pm for such as holiday/absence cover. In this case 1 hour lunch break is applied.)
The SEU Finance Department has supervision and control of the London Head Quarters and SEU Branches. As the regional Head Quarters it also liaises closely with Russia and NIS.
The position-holder is responsible for the daily cash operations, payments by electronic systems, administration tasks for Finance Department, accounting entries on the transactions and the issuance of various vouchers.
The position-holder answers directly to DGM of the London Finance Section.
– Issue cheques
– Check the incoming/outgoing funds and Issue relevant slips.
– Transfer funds from bank to bank as when require and Issue relevant slips.
(Note) Their dealing transactions are in multi-currencies eg GBP/USD/ JPY/EUR and other currencies, they are using two to three banks for their incoming/outgoing funds.
– Arrange the Inter-company loans, Group/Project loans, Time deposits and Foreign Currency Exchange transactions (to be instructed by DGM of the department as when require).
– Prepare accounting entries for the transactions above and updating the outstanding details on the system.
(Note) They lend/borrow funds to/from inter-companies (branches) and Project SPC companies and borrow/lend funds from/to SGF who is an in-house finance distributor company.
This position requires someone who has substantial amount of administrative experiences with good excel skills.
